Update: Bridge Damage Possible, Inspection Scheduled for Saturday

Update (10:45 p.m.)

LITTLE ROCK, AR — There are conflicting reports about whether any bridges sustained damage in Friday’s incident.

Shane Stacks, Justice of the Peace, District 15 has confirmed that according to Judge Buddy Villines, there is damage on Broadway, I-30 and Barring Cross (bridges). 

However, according to multiple sources at the scene who spoke to FOX16 reporter Melissa Schroeder, there was no damage done to the bridges and officials say they are completely safe to drive on.

All bridges are open, but there will be further inspection into the incident tomorrow.

LITTLE ROCK, AR — All bridges are now open, according to multiple sources.

The I-30, Broadway and Main Street Bridges were all closed after two barges came loose and struck bridges.

LITTLE ROCK, AR —  The North Little Rock Police Department has confirmed that I-30, Broadway and Main Street bridges are closed after two barges came loose and struck bridges.
