JACKSONVILLE, AR – Police are looking for a suspect after a teenager survives a shooting.

The Jacksonville Police Department released the attached photo of the kind of vehicle they’re looking for in the case.

It’s described as a teal blue Kia Sportage, which might have damage to the driver’s side front end.

The JPD says officers were called to the 200 block of Southeastern Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. Monday.

That’s where a victim described only as an 18-year-old male had been wounded. Police say he was treated and released at a North Little Rock hospital.

JACKSONVILLE, AR — A teen is injured after a shooting in Jacksonville Monday night.

The unidentified victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, according to the Jacksonville police public information officer.

It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Southeastern Avenue.

Police believe the shooter fired from a vehicle and they are working to gather more information from witnesses including information about the vehicle.
