PINE BLUFF, AR – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a longtime employee who died from injuries sustained during a motor vehicle collision in Pine Bluff.
Betty McEntire, 57, was the Administrative Secretary for Jefferson County Sheriff Gerald Robinson and has been with the Sheriff’s Office for 16 years.
Memorial services are to be announced.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AR – A Pine Bluff woman has died after her vehicle left a highway and landed in some trees.
It happened Sunday morning around 7:55.
According to the Arkansas State Police accident report, Betty McEntire, 57, was behind the wheel of a 2002 Toyota when she went off the road and hit an embankment before the vehicle went airborne.
The accident happened along the Martha Mitchell Expressway near University Drive.
