HOPE, AR – Three people have been injured in a shooting at Hope.

It happened around 3:00 this morning at the Triple J Shell in the 2600 block of North Hervey St.

When police arrived they learned that there had been a large crowd of people outside the store before the shots were fired.

Police say the shooting victims had already left the scene and gone to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope by personal vehicle for treatment. There’s no word on their conditions.

Police identified the victims as Summerrial Threadgill, 20, of Magnolia, Bridgett Currey, 24, of Magnolia, and Roderick Purifoy, 28, of Bluff City.  

This afternoon, the Hope Police Department arrested Keith D. Moses, 27, of Hope, in the case.

Moses is charged with three counts of Battery 1st degree, Possession of Firearms by certain persons, four counts of Aggravated assault, and Criminal Mischief.  

He is being held in the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
