LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says the lane closures on I-430 southbound at I-630 are done.
After being closed for most of the day Wednesday to complete a lane shift, all three southbound lanes are now open.
Crews originally thought rain Wednesday morning would delay this portion of the project, but instead, workers were able to get their work done earlier than expected.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department credits drivers who stayed out the work zone as cautioned so crews could complete their work.
All three southbound lanes of I-430 will be open for commuters Thursday morning. Drivers are still urged to slow down, be cautious and allow for extra time because there is new signage up at the interchange to direct drivers through the slight changes.
