LITTLE ROCK, AR – With Black Friday just around the corner, retailers across central Arkansas are gearing up of the busy shopping season by hiring hundreds of holiday helpers.
JC Penny has already hired 40 new employees and they are looking to hire 40 more for all their departments.
“We’re looking for people who have a great smile and are going to be interacting with the customer,” says store manager Philip Munoz.
There are two ways to apply at Penny’s, you can go to the store and apply at the kiosk, or you can go online and apply from home.
“We’re looking for those people who do an outstanding job for the holiday season,” says Munoz.
Also adding jobs, Target on University is adding 75 holiday jobs, and Kohl’s is also accepting applications. Officials at Park Plaza say stores like Journeys, Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body, and Pandora also will need extra help.
