NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police arrested a man after he reportedly threatened to shoot workers who were trying to fix a sewer line on his property.

According to reports, officials from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at 1010 Valentine Road where a man was barricaded inside of his home. The suspect, later identified as Henry Harris, reportedly made numerous threats to shoot workers trying to repair a stopped sewer line. Harris locked himself in his house, saying he would “drop the man who started digging on his property.”

Police spoke through the front door with Harris, who said he was upset about the septic line not being placed in the right location six years ago. He then spoke to several people on the phone, saying that they may never see him again and that he would see them on “the other side,” indicating that if the workers started digging on his land, the outcome would be violent.

According to police, Harris was wearing a vest that held several shotgun shells in the front. Harris was tased, taken into custody and charged with terroristic threatening.

The investigation is ongoing.
