POPE COUNTY, AR — Emergency personnel are responding to a 911 call reporting a plane crash on Cannaday Flat Road in Hector, the River Valley Leader reports.
The crash was reported to Pope County 911 dispatchers around 5 p.m. Monday.
The River Valley Leader has also received reports stating that the engine stalled 7 miles after take-off.
The pilot attempted to coast into Russellville but then attempted an emergency landing on Cannaday Flat Road where one of the wings was caught in a power line, causing the plane to crash into an adjacent field.
The pilot and three passengers all walked away from the accident.
