LITTLE ROCK, AR — Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has rejected a ballot title proposal to legalize marijuana for agricultural, medicinal and recreational use due to ambiguities in the language.
The ballot title proposal was submitted for the second time by Arkansans for Medical Cannibis.
In the opinion issued by the attorney general’s office Friday afternoon, McDaniel refers the group to several ambiguities in the title itself, as well as other sections of the measure.
The opinion instructs the group to “redesign” the measure and ballot title before resubmitting.
