Auditions in Memphis March 8 for “So You Think You Can Dance!”

MEMPHIS, TN – Arkansans hoping for a chance to be on the FOX Network’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE! (SYTYCD) show will want to head to Memphis on Sunday (March 8).

That’s where open call auditions for Season 12 are taking place at the Orpheum Theatre (203 S Main St.), starting at 7 a.m. Show producers are hoping for a great turnout of the best dancers the region has to offer.

Sunday’s auditions are with producers from the show. There will be callbacks on Tuesday to audition before the SYTYCD judges. 

 

Producers say SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’s newest season features an intensified competition between dancers from stage and street, and has been out on the audition trail to five cities, including New York, Dallas, Detroit, Memphis and Los Angeles. 

Hopefuls will have the opportunity to show they have what it takes to be America’s Favorite Dancer when auditions hit Memphis on stop four of five cities.
