LITTLE ROCK, AR (News Release) – The Arkansas Attorney General has certified the wording of the ballot title for the 2016 Arkansas Medical Care Act, clearing the way for Arkansans for Compassionate Care to start collecting signatures.
The new initiative adds more initial qualifying conditions for patients; improves the Affordability clause; provides for Cannabis Testing Labs; and further defines the Hardship Cultivation clause.
“We have more than 600 volunteers across the state who are preparing to gather signatures starting in just a few weeks,” said Melissa Fults, Campaign Director for the AMCA. “There’s no stopping us. We have the time and the people to make it happen.”
