BENTON, AR – On Monday officers with the Benton Police Department took a report of checks being stolen from a victim.
The victim informed officers that his checks had been forged at businesses and also his account number was used to pay online bills.
Detectives then began an investigation and determined the suspect in the case was Gary Kyle, 53, of Benton.
Based on their findings and evidence gathered, Kyle was charged in the case.
At the time of charging, Kyle was already behind bars in the Saline County Detention Facility on unrelated charges.
Kyle was charged with Forgery, Theft of Property, and Computer Fraud.
