BENTON, AR — Police have arrested a man they say raped a female, juvenile acquaintance of his last week.
According to the Benton Police Department (BPD), officers took a report of a possible rape on Oct. 28.
Subsequent investigation revealed evidence that indicated a rape had taken place, and detectives identified the suspect as 59-year-old Rickey Irving.
After further investigation, Irving was arrested on Nov. 1 and charged with two counts of rape.
Irving was taken to the Saline County Detention Facility, where he currently remains on $25,000 bond.
