LITTLE ROCK, AR — Just over half a decade later and the construction is nearing an end on the Big Rock Interchange in the Capitol City. The first flyover on Northbound I-430 — by Baptist Health Medical Center — is expected to open this weekend.
Weather permitting, the ramp on Exit 6A could open as early as tomorrow.
Construction crews will be out Saturday making some final touches on the flyover, so expect some delays.
The $125 million project, that’s six years in the making, should be finished by this summer.
