WATERTOWN, Mass. — The manhunt for the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings is over.

Less than an hour after the lock down was lifted, police responded to calls of shots fired in Watertown. Thermal imaging from a helicopter had reportedly discovered a person hiding in a boat, which was covered by a tarp and sitting on a trailer in someone’s backyard.

Several other loud bangs were heard almost an hour after the original gunshots were reported, as scanner traffic indicated law enforcement officers were using flash bangs to possibly stun the suspect.
