LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Bryant man has been killed in a traffic accident on Interstate 30.
The single car wreck happened just after 1 a.m. Sunday in the westbound lanes between Bryant and Alexander.
The Arkansas State Police accident report identifies the victim as Miguel Cruz, 34, the driver of a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria.
Cruz was pronounced dead after being taken to a Little Rock hospital.
Two passengers in the car with him were listed as injured but there’s no further word on their condition.
Troopers say Cruz’s vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control before running off the road, hitting the concrete barrier wall and overturning. The car came down on its side, the report said.
