FORDYCE, Ark. — A Dallas County family searching for the person responsible for firing off up to six shots into their home Wednesday night. “The bullet entered there and went through his bedroom wall,” says Melissa Davis.

Outside the Fordyce home – Melissa Davis shares with her husband and kids. Bullet holes can be seen in a window.”Wednesday night there was a drive by there were at least six shots fired,” says Melissa.

One of those bullets  flying into her sons room – through a wall before landing in a bathroom. “Tell my kids get down and get on floor,” says Terry Davis.

Terry says he was home with his kids when they heard the shots. He says the next day while cleaning up – he found bullet holes in an outside pool and in his sons window. “My son could have been in there playing video games and this could have been a whole different situation in here tonight,” says Terry.

The family say they may know who is responsible – and are working with Fordyce police to help catch whoever fired those shots. “My son he is terrified to even play his video games now, he wants to throw away all the games that have violence in them,” says Melissa.

In hopes -their family can have peace of mind. In knowing bullets won’t come flying through their home while they’re asleep. “All we’ve got is this town and the people in this town,” says Terry. “This is no way to act.”
