LITTLE ROCK, AR- A state call center that has been handling damage claims following the April 10th storms will be closing soon.
The call center covers Izard, Lincoln and Van Buren Counties.
It will close next Wednesday, May 1st.
The application center and call center hours will continue operations thru Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The number to the call center is 1-888-683-2336.
An online application system is also available 24 hours per day during the application period.
The online application is available at .adem.arkansas.gov.
Assistance is available for eligible homeowners and renters whose primary residence was destroyed or made uninhabitable and had eligible uninsured losses. Businesses are not eligible for state assistance.
Categories of assistance include the following
- Home repairs, personal property repair/replacement
- cleaning, sanitizing, and debris removal
- repairs/replacement of primary transportation
The following information is needed when applying:
- Primary homeowners and renters information
- Social Security number; damage address, phone number, Email address
- insurance information
