NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Business employees in North Little Rock fear young children are part of a scheme to steal money from restaurant customers and servers.

It’s happened at the Golden Corral in North Little Rock along HWY 67/167 according to an assistant manager there.

A post on Facebook shared pictures of adults, who the employee claimed was in a getaway car for the 8 to 10-year-olds sent inside.

We’re told children went inside Tuesday (6/6) asking for money to support a supposed sports team but were also stealing tips off tables.

“It’s terrible. It’s sad,” Sharon and Roxie agreed, both customers of Golden Corral. “I mean it breaks my heart to know that stuff like that is happening. And that parents allow them in on it. That’s the worst thing.”

According to Facebook comments, the same thing has happened to at least three other businesses along that stretch of highway.

North Little Rock Police have not received reports however.
