LITTLE ROCK, AR- A new lawsuit has been filed by lawyers for several landowners around Lake Conway.
The 36-page suit claims the company knew the Pegasus pipeline was likely to suffer a catastrophic failure years before the spill.
There are a number of allegations spelled out in the lawsuit, including that the spill has “directly migrated into and polluted” Lake Conway.
The lawsuit also accuses ExxonMobil of intentionally misleading the public and the press about the severity of the leak.
