WEST MEMPHIS, AR – Former President Bill Clinton says this mid-term race is getting down to the wire, so he took the stage at the crowded community college to urge voters to get to the polls.
“This whole thing is coming down to turn out.” says Former U.S. President Bill Clinton.
Hundreds crowded the center of Mid-South Community College to hear Clinton along with other Democratic Candidates speak about the importance of voting.
“Because more people voted in a Presidential Race than a non-presidential race.” says Clinton.

“This is going to be first time voting in a mid-term race”
Is 24-year-old college student Devario Looney. Looney says with graduation in the future and loans waiting to be repaid, more than ever he needs to know who is on the ballot.
“I really wanted to make sure i checked out my policies and everything.” says Looney.
With the Democratic Party slightly behind, Clinton painted a picture of what he feels is impacting impressions of candidates.
“Don’t you get tired of watching all these negative ads? And there is a reason they buy them. They work, people say they just hate them but they get inside your brain. All that slim they try to throw on these candidates.”
With ads circulating from both parties candidates reminded voters not to let them burn their fuel to exercise their democratic right.
“Get out and let your voice be heard.” says U.S. Senator Mark Pryor.
Looney says the people behind the ads must share the same values.
“To know that they care about my issues to have as a person.” says Looney.
Counties all across Arkansas are reporting higher voter turnout compared to the midterm elections. Clinton says there is always room for more votes.
