LITTLE ROCK, AR – A North Little Rock man is dead after falling on the job at a Little Rock construction site Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to the scene at 3rd and Main around 2:30 p.m. Police say Erick Rivera Pontilla, 29, was working 11 feet in the air on a beam placing bolts into steel when he lost his balance, and fell on a concrete slab below.
Pontilla who was employed with Kinco Constructors, was pronounced dead after being taken to UAMS.
Police say other workers at the site told officers they did not see Pontilla fall.
