CONWAY, AR — Is there more to the story of a wife and mother shot six times at a Conway Walmart?

Lori Martin and her husband Adam have a history of violence, according to the Conway Police Department.

The first incident report obtained by Fox16 dates back to a 2012 domestic disturbance.

Adam Martin, the narrative reads, had scratch wounds on his face that were later determined to be from his wife.

Lori admitted to police they had an altercation and when Conway police asked why Adam lied about the wounds, he said, “He did not want his wife to get in trouble.”

Later that year Lori was arrested for shoplifting and Adam was hospitalized after a stabbing.

The police report states, at the hospital, Lori told officers she saw nothing from the attack and had been in her room.

She said her husband’s only description of the person was he was wearing a mask.

Conway police tell Fox16 news they go down every avenue in an investigation, but could not reveal if these prior incidents were related to the February 1st Walmart shooting, in which Martin was shot six times. The suspect in that case, Myron Terrell, was an employee at the store. Police believe Terrell specifically targeted Martin.
