SEBASTIAN COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) – Sebastian County authorities are searching for a pair of thieves.
A man and woman are wanted in connection with the theft of a wallet from a car at Ben Geren Regional Park. The owner of the wallet was playing golf when the theft occurred, according to a Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office news release.
“Later in the day she was alerted by her bank and her credit card company that someone had used her cards at two locations in Fort Smith,” the news release states.
The woman’s debit card was used for a $1,040 purchase at the Target in Fort Smith, and her credit card was used to make a purchase around $3,500 at Best Buy, the news release states.
Investigators have released surveillance photos of the suspects.
