ARKADELPHIA, AR — While public schools remained closed for a fourth day in Arkadelphia, I-30 and the main city roads were clear of ice and slush by this morning already.
The local police department did not report any major accidents, but reminded folks some of the county roads are still slick. Drivers told us though, conditions are better than expected.
Driver John Fitzgerald said, “Se that’s ‘iffy’ right there. Some back roads are bad, some are good. Over by Henderson State and the football field is pretty bad, but as far as everything else, they’re okay.”
Snowfall totals in Arkadelphia reported to be at six inches on Wednesday.
