LITTLE ROCK, AR – A Crossett woman has died in an icy road accident.
It happened early Monday morning, just after 5, along Highway 82 East in Chicot County.
The Arkansas State Police (ASP) says Gertrude Brock, age not listed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The ASP accident report states that Brock was headed east in a 2001 Toyota TT5 when she lost control. Her vehicle then struck a ditch and overturned.
The report notes that freezing rain was falling at the time of the accident and there was ice on the roads.
