SEARCY, AR – A candlelight vigil is planned for Saturday in Searcy for a two-year-old boy who has been missing for more than two weeks.
According to the Facebook page FindMalik, the vigil for Malik Drummond is scheduled for Dec. 13 at Berryhill Park (501 Davis Dr. between Moore Ave. and Race Ave.) at 5:30 p.m.
Participants are asked to please bring a candle with them for the vigil.
A post on the FindMalik Facebook page states the following:
“This is a time for the community to gather in prayer for Malik and his family and to give thanks to the efforts of our Police Department and the countless number of volunteers that gathered together to search so effortlessly for the little boy that we have all grown to love.”
