BERRYVILLE, Ark. – The bust of what officials say was a meth making operation has landed two people in jail.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) says the arrests were made on Friday after search warrants were served at two homes on County Road 108 where the suspects had lived and were currently living.

Darryl Birchfield, 50, and Laura Green, 52, are both charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor). They’re out on bond after posting $10,000 bond each.

The CCSO says investigators recovered evidence of methamphetamine use and manufacture in both homes, including two separate one-pot meth labs recovered from one home, as well as products used to manufacture meth.

Birchfield and Green are scheduled to appear in Berryville Circuit Court on July 11.
