Deputies want public’s help in finding killer

PULASKI COUNTY, AR – Someone killed Shedreka Harris’ pregnant cousin, Alexis Crawford, along with her boyfriend, Herman Hill, on May 6 in a mobile home on Reed Road in Pulaski County. Five days later, the killer is still on the loose.

“It’s been hard, very hard,” said Harris. “Because I mean we’ve lost people before, but we’ve never lost anyone to a murder and that’s what it was, a cold blooded murder.”

Now, Harris and the rest of her family want justice. Not just for Crawford and Hill, but also for Crawford’s children.

“She was somebody’s child, somebody’s mother, and she had three kids now that don’t have a mother and hey, every child deserves to have their mother in their life,” said Harris.

Deputies say they’ve gotten plenty of leads since the murders, but so far none have panned-out. They believe the killer, or killers, knew Crawford and Hill because they didn’t find any signs of forced entry at the mobile home.

“We do believe there’s still somebody out there that knows what actually took place and we’re asking that person to come forward. Person or persons,” said Pulaski County Investigator Michael Bryant.

Now deputies want the public’s help, saying even seemingly insignificant information about the murders could crack the case.

Conway police say last September, gunmen attacked and killed the father of Herman Hill, and the case remains unsolved. Pulaski County deputies say they’ve spoken with Conway detectives, but at this time it’s unknown if the murders are connected.
