Dr. Sanjay Gupta Will Give Lecture in Little Rock


LITTLE ROCK, AR – Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the multiple Emmy-award winning chief medical correspondent for CNN is set to speak in Little Rock.

Gupta will speak at the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series on Thursday, June 27.

The doctor plans to discuss the intersection of media and medicine.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta is a practicing neurosurgeon who anchors the weekend CNN medical affairs program “Sanjay Gupta, MD.”

He also does medical reporting for “Starting Point,” “Anderson Cooper 360°” and CNN documentaries.

His medical training and public health policy experience distinguish his reporting on a range of medical and scientific topics including brain injury, disaster recovery, health care reform, fitness, military medicine, HIV/AIDS and other areas.

The lecture will be in the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center.

The doors open at 5:30 and the lecture begins at 6:00.
