HOT SPRINGS, AR – A 48-year-old woman who was attacked and beaten two weeks ago remains on life support. Her family says they want justice.
According to the family of Laura Cogburn she’s currently on life support in intensive care at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs.
They tell us Cogburn was found unresponsive in Howard County two weeks ago. She was placed on life support April 13th.
According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office there is an open investigation but no arrests have been made.
“I just want them punished,” said Pat Sheffield, Laura’s mother. “I mean if she dies that’s murder.”
Laura’s children are holding out hope that she’ll make it through and will be able to tell them what happened.
