PRAIRIE COUNTY, AR — Mike Edwards only has a fraction left of his weapons used for hunting. Seventeen of his guns are gone and Prairie County deputies say Randy Couch and Randal Rhoades stole them out of his safe.
“When you lay them on their side and start prying on them they will open,” said Edwards.
Thieves hit the Edwards home twice in the same week. After the first time, Mike installed hidden cameras in the bedroom. It’s a good thing he remembered to turn the cameras on or he wouldn’t have caught the burglars in the act.
“I just thank God He planned it to where no one was here,” said Edwards.
“I have to look around when I start out the door. I just look and hope no one’s there,” said Edwards’ wife, Marilyn.
Even more mind boggling — the Edwards say they don’t know the burglars.
“I’m just glad we weren’t here. No one wants to get in a gun battle,” said Mike.
They hope you recognize them and turn them in.
“Home is your safe haven. If you can’t go anywhere else, you should feel like you can come home,” said Edwards.
