LITTLE ROCK, AR – Agents with the FBI arrested a Jacksonville man Saturday in connection with multiple attacks on the central Arkansas power grid.

Jason Woodring, 37, of Jacksonville was arrested at his home a day after an explosion was reported in the area.

FBI agents say Woodring admittedly responsibility for a series of three attacks on electrical towers and stations starting in August.

Woodring is charged with destruction of an energy facility.

According to the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Woodring is expected to appear in federal court on Tuesday for an initial appearance.
