Fog Keeps Clinton Airport Passengers Grounded Overnight

LITTLE ROCK, AR — Flights to and from the Clinton National Airport started back up Wednesday morning after low visibility from fog kept planes from landing at or departing from the airport.

The hazy conditions started Tuesday morning.

Many passengers made several trips to the airport over the past two days just to learn their flights had been canceled or delayed.

Some passengers even spent the night in the airport.

“Missing my family, and you get aggravated as everything gets delayed, and so on,” passenger PJ Visser says.

Delta Airlines provided a chartered bus to the Memphis airport to help some passengers get to their destinations.
