FAYETTEVILLE, AR (KNWA) — Former Arkansas Razorback basketball player Jason Henry has been arrested on trafficking and prostitution charges in connection to the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.
According to a police report, on March 22, Fayetteville officers were called to Washington Regional Medical Center to investigate the girl’s reported rape. The victim’s mother told police her daughter was raped multiple times over the weekend in several locations, and that the girl had exchanged sex for money.
The alleged victim was interviewed at the Child Safety Center the next day, where she admitted that when she was supposed to be staying at a friend’s house, she went to “Jessyca’s” apartment instead, where she said she had sex with multiple men. Police say the victim said Jessyca Hoskins allowed her to drink and smoke marijuana, and that Hoskins introduced her to a pimp named “Allstar.”
Police made contact with a witness who gave officers video of the 14-year-old and a man having sex at Hoskins’ house. Police say Hoskins, 26, later admitted that she filmed the video on her phone, she knew the man was over 18 years old and she knew the victim was underage.
Police obtained the victim’s phone which shows text messages between the victim and “Allstar” which show that “Allstar groomed the victim into being a prostitute.” The police report goes on to say the messages state how much money “Allstar” wanted the victim to charge for sex, and that he would split the money with her 50/50.
Police searched for “Allstar” on Facebook and found a page with pictures of a man in an Arkansas Razorbacks uniform. After some investigation, police found Jason Henry’s Facebook page which had the same Razorback pictures. Police say the phone numbers for “Allstar” and Henry are the same.
On March 29, police found Henry, 26, of West Memphis, at a motel in Conway and he was taken to Fayetteville. Henry told officers he found out about the 14-year-old girl through Jessyca Hoskins, who told him the girl wanted him to be her pimp. Police say he also told them he had consensual sex with the victim at a Fayetteville motel.
Henry faces charges of Trafficking a Person, Promoting of Prostitution and Sexual Assault.
Hoskins faces charges of Employing or Consenting to the Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance, Distributing, Possessing or Viewing Matter Depicting Sexually Explicit Conduct Involving a Child and Computer Exploitation of a Child.
