LITTLE ROCK, AR — The Unemployment Compensation for Federal Employees (UCFE) program is available to those furloughed as a result of the government shutdown.
Unemployed federal employees affected by the shutdown can start by filing a claim at www.ezarc.adws.arkansas.gov. Once the UCFE claim is filed, the following documents should be taken to the nearest DWS office:

- A picture ID
- Social Security car
- One of these documents provided by your federal employer: Notice to Federal Employee About Unemployment Insurance (SF-8)
or Notice of Personnel Action (SF-50); Individuals who do not have a SF-8 or SF-50, should bring a paystub and the name and address of the federal agency worked for - A copy of W2 for any federal agency worked for during 2012.
