JACKSONVILLE, AR — On Monday, folks enjoyed a beautiful twilight concert in a central Arkansas city rich in military history.
In honor of Veterans Day, the Jacksonville High School Choir sang for veterans and others attending the event at the Museum of Military History.
It was a great evening to enjoy patriotic music, just before the cold weather arrives.
“Then men in the uniform, thank you,” City Alderman Reedie Ray said. “As we look around us we realize we’re blessed all over the world.”
Jacksonville holds special events every Veterans Day, but this is its first evening concert.
