PRAIRIE GROVE, AR – A woman has died in a morning house fire in Northwest Arkansas.
Police in Prairie Grove (Washington County) say fire crews were called to a home on Kate Smith Street shortly after 8:00 a.m. today.
People living in other nearby homes were evacuated as firefighters from Prairie Grove, Lincoln and Farmington battled the flames.
There’s no word yet on what caused the fire, but crews are investigating.
