MORRILTON, AR — Hikers find human remains on Petit Jean Mountain.
Wednesday at 4:48 p.m., two hikers notified Conway County 911 that they had found human remains while on a hiking trip.
Arkansas State Parks rangers, the Conway County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police and Morrilton Police Department assisted in the collection of the remains.
The remains will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification.
More information will be released when it becomes available.
