LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas drivers are finding slightly improved conditions from when they first ventured out this morning.
But while things are a little smoother in some places, a section of Interstate 30 outside Benton has been a parking lot since around 9:30 this morning.
Reporter Josh Berry is on the scene and reports it’s been taking travelers headed to or from Malvern more than an hour and 45 minutes to go just 10 miles.
Josh reports that the stretch of interstate is a solid sheet of ice and big trucks that are driving in the middle are causing the backup.

He says officials are advising everyone to stay away from that part of I-30.
The backed up traffic is between exits 99 and 106.
