SCOTT, AR — The search has begun again for the missing real estate agent Beverly Carter near Scott, Arkansas.
“Its almost like a movie. You know its your biggest nightmare,” says Beverly’s friend Sommer Salgaonkar.
More than 100 volunteers showed up to help out in Scott Saturday.
Searchers were on foot and on all-terrain vehicles.
Their efforts are being coordinated from a staging area on Faulkner Lake Road near the Stonelinks Golf Course.
“One is concentration from just west of the house that Beverly was showing at the end of Old River Road and they are going to work their way east to Highway 161,” says David Goldstein a member of the search party.
Pulaski County Sheriffs deputies searched by vehicle and horseback.
Volunteers were looking for any piece of evidence could that could lead deputies to Carter.
On Friday night, family and friends of Beverly Carter gathered at Crye-Leike Realtors for a candlelight vigil for the missing realtor’s safe return.
“I hope that there is a chance that she is able to come back and I know there will be,” says Salgaonkar.
While detectives believe Beverly was taken from the home, no descriptions of a possible suspect or a vehicle have been released.
Sunday deputies will search beginning at 8:30 a.m. while family and friends will search starting at 10.
