LITTLE ROCK, AR – Arkansas pro boxer Jermain Taylor appeared in court Thursday morning for battery charges stemming from when he allegedly attacked a person in a treatment center.
The appearance in court was a plea and arraignment hearing.
Taylor plead not guilty and his attorney requested a mental evaluation.
Back in February, the two-time middleweight title holder was stripped of his champion status by the International Boxing Federation, due to his legal troubles.
