LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Louisiana man is behind bars and accused of sexually assaulting a local teen boy.

The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) says LeChristopher Markray, 33, of Minden, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in the investigation into an alleged incident that was first reported back in March.

Markray’s jail record shows he is charged with Sexual Assault, 1st Degree and is being held on $50,000 bond.

According to the March police report, a 38-year-old woman went to the LRPD Southwest
substation to report that her cousin (Markray) had threatened and then forced the teen to have sex with him. She told police that after the incident the teen told her he needed to go to the doctor because he had burning urination. He was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with a sexually-transmitted disease doctors said was likely gonorrhea. The doctors also told the woman they would be reporting the case to the Child Abuse Hotline. The woman told police that at that time, Markray had returned to Louisiana.

The teen told police he refused Markray’s demand for sex before the suspect threatened to hurt him and said he would “tell everyone he was gay.”
