LITTLE ROCK– A film festival geared toward the LGBT Community is coming to the capital city.
The first Kaleidoscope Film Festival kicks off Thursday at the Studio Theater.
Each night, film makers will showcase movies with LGBT themes.
It’s the first film fest for the gay and lesbian community since the mid 1990’s.
The people behind this weekend’s showcase say this will bring Little Rock in line with other cities.
“Lot’s of these movies get played all over the country, but have never been played here in Little Rock or in Arkansas,” says Tony Taylor with the Kaledioscope Film Festival.
The festival kicks off Thursday night and runs through Saturday.
Twelve film makers will showcase 13 feature and 40 shorts films.
