LITTLE ROCK, AR – The recording has been released of the 911 call from the Aug. 26 shooting at the North Little Rock home of pro boxer Jermain Taylor.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office made the audio available Thursday afternoon.

Here’s a portion of what can he heard:

Caller: We got some intruders on our property.
Dispatch: Are they still there? 
Caller: Uh, are they still here?
Heard in caller’s background: I shot one of ’em. 
Caller: Okay, my husband shot one of them.
Heard in caller’s background: Better come get ’em before I kill ’em! 
Caller: Can you please hurry?

The victim in the shooting at Taylor’s home near Maumelle turned out to be his cousin, Tyrone Hinton.

Taylor’s arrest report stated that there was a disturbance at his home that “resulted in his cousin being shot multiple times.”

Taylor spent the night in the Pulaski County Jail Aug. 26 and was arraigned the next morning.
