Little Rock Parolee Arrested on Fleeing, DWI Charges

BENTON, AR – A Little Rock man is behind bars for fleeing from police and driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over early Sunday morning.

On Sunday shortly after 2 a.m., an officer with the Benton Police Department observed a vehicle speeding on I-30 eastbound near the 118 exit.

The officer attempted to pull the vehicle over, but it didn’t stop and instead increased its speed.

As they neared the I-30 124 mile mark, the suspect vehicle suddenly pulled over and came to a stop.

Officers then made contact with the driver, Alfred Tuggle, 43, of Little Rock, who told them he had an active warrant for parole revocation.

According to police Tuggle was driving while intoxicated and he was taken into custody for it and the active warrant.
Tuggle is charged with Fleeing, Reckless Driving, DWI, and also an active warrant out of the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections. This is an on-going investigation and additional charges could be possible.
