LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – 10:30 PM Update– The threat of severe weather is diminishing across Arkansas. Showers and storms continue to push through south central Arkansas, though severe parameters are not being met. Therefore, the National Weather Service has cancelled the tornado watch for most of tonight.

Some gusty winds are still possible as these storms continue charging southeast. There will also be frequent lightning at times.

Heavy rain with the potential to see some flash flooding will be possible overnight through Friday morning. Do not cross roads with standing water. Always remember to “turn around, don’t drown.”
