STUTTGART, Ark. — Stuttgart touts itself as the duck and rice capital of the world. Now it has another record to add to the list with the world’s largest duck call.
The 16-foot long call, handcrafted by a chainsaw sculptor, now on display at the Rich-n-Tone Duck Call Store.
Carver Randy Head made the mammoth call in honor of Rich-n-Tone’s founder, Butch Richenback, who passed away this summer after a long fight with cancer.
“It will be a functioning lung-powered duck call right here at Rich-n-Tone,” he said.
“Since Butch taught so many kids to blow a call and he founded the largest duck call company, why not be the world’s largest call and put it in the duck capital of the world? ” President of R-n-T, John Stephens, said.
Rich-n-Tone has submitted the call to the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest duck call in the world.
It’s about 3 times the length of the previous record holder.
