LONOKE COUNTY, AR – Officials from the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after he reportedly assaulted two women and attacked a dog with a hammer Monday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call about an assault on Kay Vonne Circle around 8:03 am on April 2. Police arrested 27-year-old Cody Boldin of Cabot at the scene.
Boldin was arrested for aggravated assault on a family or household and cruelty to animals, after investigation revealed that during the assault of one of the female victims, Boldin struck her dog in the head with a hammer. One victim who received abrasions and bruises was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
