LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A crowd of Little Rock Central High School Students gathered Friday outside their school to protest the ending of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

President Donald Trump made the decision to scrap the program which was implemented during the Obama-era. DACA gives temporary legal immigration status to people who came to the United States illegally as children.

Both Dreamers (those protected under DACA) and non-Dreamers alike stood side-by-side in solidarity Friday morning at Central High School, chanting things like “Education, not deportation,” and “Defend Dreamers, defend DACA.”

Pictures and videos sent in by viewers (shown below) indicate there were dozens of LRCH students who turned out to the protest.

“Defend dreamers, defend DACA”
